Welcome to Oireachtas na nÓg, an educational tour of The Houses of the Oireachtas. Here you can learn about what goes on inside the Dáil and Seanad, the work of the Ceann Comhairle, the Cathaoirleach and the day to day work of a T.D. and a Senator.

There is information on the history of Ireland's Parliament as well as games, colouring pages and a quiz to test your knowledge of everything on this website – you can even print out a certificate when you get all the questions right.

It is hoped that this website will be an interesting asset for all students and that this introduction to the Houses of the Oireachtas can help in the classroom, while doing homework or a project and when arranging or following up on a tour. Where further information is available links are provided to our main website so items of interest can be followed up.
